Class Description

This class is tailored for students who possess a good foundation in working with borosilicate glass at the torch. The curriculum primarily emphasizes refining blowing techniques, acquiring new methodologies, and mastering the proper utilization of tools. Spanning five intensive days, each student will receive personalized guidance and instruction throughout the duration of the course. This comprehensive class offers an immersive learning experience. Please note that travel expenses and accommodation are not covered.

What's Included?

01.

This is an intensive and high level class designed for students that has already some years of experience.

02.

You will have the opportunity to learn many different techniques.

03.

You’ll study with only 4 students with the same level. This is not commonly offered by glass schools.

04.

High intensive schedule. The class will start at 9 am every morning, ends at 5 pm with a lunch break.
Lunch is included.

05.

Access to Simone’s full equipment studio. This includes High quality torches, kilns, lathe, Nqalha, big variety of hand tools and cold working equipment and glass library.

06.

Simone has 24 years of experience in professional glassmaking and 14 in teaching. Students will be followed personally throughout the course.

07.

You will study using best quality Schott glass and large variety of colors.

08.

From Saturday 14th September there will be the Venice Glass Week and Homo Faber exhibition in Venice, a good chance to see some great glass and have some good time in Venice.

09.

You will get assistance to organise your transportation from and to the airport and to find a good accommodation.

10.

Every student will receive one of the pieces made during the demos.
