Magnolia
A collection defined by enchantment
Five pieces – three candelabras, and two mirrors – all inspired by magnolia flowers, a plant that has existed on earth for millions of years. Originally widespread in the Far East and North America, it conquered Europe in the 17th century. Its superb beauty, uniting East and West, becomes an object, transforming the magnolia into a symbol: of rebirth, as it is one of the first flowers to bring spring after winter; of gratitude for the nature that surrounds us; and of eternal beauty.
In ancient China, it was believed that the magnolia could cure sadness with the scent of its solitary flowers. The mirrors and candelabras created here are content to be a dedication to the beauty of the female figure, to her perseverance and inner strength, which manifest themselves with delicacy, sensuality, and reserve.
A collection defined by enchantment, aroused by the size of the blown works and the mastery and precision of high craftsmanship, which in the Liliiflora mirror intersects the wisdom of mirror makers, the accuracy of stone and diamond engraving, the three-dimensional vibration of the lampworked bee, and a contemporary design.
