It was easy to find myself on the same wavelength as Bruno Pedrosa.
As well as being a great artist, he is also a friend, and the language of art transcends all barriers of age, origins or style.
The Contaminazioni collection stems from the desire to combine our traits, seemingly very different, through four-handed work.
Branches and bark, trunk well rooted in the ground and upward momentum: in nature these elements follow one another without contradiction, but rather each collaborates to enhance the potential of the other.
So, in our bonsai the transparency of the branches and the etchings on the base are harmonious and coexist, creating dense thickets of light figures with personality. You will find Daphne, the nymph who changes into a tree to escape from a persistent admirer, or Artemis, goddess of the hunt and of the forest.
Where man meets and unites with nature, this is where we worked and found common ground on which to develop our friendship and cooperation.
